Ready Start Networks (RSNs) are federally-funded programs meant to provide and support quality education and care for preschool and younger aged children. Assumption Parish now has their own RSN, and wanted a brand identity that would reflect the high-quality care they aim to bring to local children.

Assumption Ready Start Network's identity concepts began with simple shapes and colors—one of the first things very young children learn to recognize. I wanted to visualize the concept of "building" and "creativity", so a visual system of imagery built out of simple shapes was created. Creating everything out of a few shapes cut into smaller shapes, a visual language was created that not only is bright and appropriate for young children, but consistent and clean enough to provide a sense of quality and trustworthiness to parents.
